Netowrking in AIX (TCPIP AIX ) part 1

#netstat -in --> list network interfaces and ipaddresses #netstat -rn --> list out the routing table #lsdev -Cc adapter |grep ent --> list out physical network adapters #lsattr -El inet0 --> look at routes in the odm #lsattr -El enX or entX --> look at odm attributes that load on boot for the adapter or interface #entstat -d entX |pg ---> list out network card errors, Media speed, Link status #entstat -d entX |grep Link #entstat -d entX |grep Media #lsattr -El inetd --> lists out deamons started by inetd... telnet, ftp... ect #netstat -an |pg --> lists out deamons and processes listening on ports
